I recently read your story on your first moments and days after being released from prison. It was truly a (I know you’ve probably heard this a lot, but still) heartwarming story, and really opened me up to the true universality of Medium. I found it really interesting that, in prison, you took that time to access your creative side, and wrote stories and poems. Isolation is a hard thing, especially for many people nowadays, with their over-connection with technology. For many people, including myself, it can be hard at times to make something from scratch, be creative, rather than just watch a Youtube video on being creative. So, again, I am grateful and thankful for you putting your story out there — I wish you the best.
